Pipistrel, one of the recent Textron acquisition, is writing the future of aviation by developing and delivering cutting-edge solutions, which are personalised, safe, environmentally friendly and enable affordable ways of flying to everyone.

For the company Pipistrel Vertical Solutions d.o.o. we are looking for an avid technical communicator (Junior) to join our rapidly growing design data handling team and help it create information products that support Pipistrel’s aircraft and services. As a member of our design organization (DO), you will be required to research/generate information and convey it clearly and comprehensively through different mediums (printed, electronic and audio-visual). Daily tasks could include:


  • documenting procedures in production and creating/writing procedure instructions using the data retrieved
  • translating technical information into clear, readable documents for technical and/or nontechnical end users
  • working/cooperating with engineers to develop images, drawings, diagrams, charts and technical data needed for supplemental documentation
  • writing flight-related documents, such as POHs (Pilot’s operating handbook), AOIs (Aircraft operating instructions) and training supplements
  • generating content related to aircraft maintenance and continued airworthiness, such as AMMs (Aircraft maintenance manual) ICAs (Instructions for continued airworthiness)
  • generating/managing design data for production and end-user purposes

Our ideal candidate has…

  • an education in a technical/engineering field (desirable)
  • a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe software
  • excellent technical writing skills

  • a thorough knowledge of English grammar and punctuation
  • the ability to interpret and convey technical concepts quickly
  • excellent organizational skills
  • superb communication and interpersonal skills
  • a keen interest in aviation and anything to do with aircraft/flight (desirable)
  • possession of any pilot’s license (desirable)
  • any knowledge or experience related to aircraft maintenance (desirable)
