The British Civil Aviation Agency issued a BCAR A8-21 Organisational Approval Certificate for microlight aircraft design and manufacture to Pipistrel, who has proven to comply with the highest standards of design and manufacture of the microlight aircraft for the United Kingdom market.
On the occasion, a ceremonial hand-over of the document was held on the premises of the Embassy of the Republic of Slovenia in London, with the participation of the Head of General Aviation at the CAA Agency Tony Rapson and the Director of Pipistrel Ivo Boscarol.

Mr. Rupel greeted the present representatives of the media, diplomatic community and existing and potential business partners. In his speech he highlighted the fact that Pipistrel received the relevant CAA certificate as the first company outside the United Kingdom, which means a lot of recognition for Pipistrel and its products as well as for the Slovenian economy in general.
