For the company Pipistrel Vertical Solutions d.o.o. we are looking for a junior mechanical engineer to become part of the Pipistrel team. As an engineer, you will be involved in mechanical assembly and in preparation of technological documentation, establishment of new technologies for the design and manufacture of composite parts and in 3D modelling. Main tasks will include but are not limited to:

  • mechanical assembly (CAD/CAM design, prototype production, pre-batch corrections) and preparation of technological documentation (drawings, numbering items in the Infor information system, review of technological documentation),
  • establishment of new technologies for the design and manufacture of composite parts in close collaboration with the prototyping team and care of documentation,
  • 3D modelling and organisation of rapid prototyping (CNC milling, 3D printing, etc.),
  • creation and maintenance of 3D and 2D CAD documentation, certification support.

What do we expect from the candidate?

  • University degree in Mechanical Engineering (VI/2, VII),
  • excellent problem solving, responsibility for work and projects,
  • knowledge of composites and their mechanical properties and individual components (resin, fibber),
  • experience with mechanical design of complex assemblies and manufacturing drawing creation,
  • preparing and editing technical documentation in complete,
  • knowledge in modelling (construction), especially Solid Works, Inventor and others, e.g. Catia,
  • experience in free form surface modelling,
  • experience with composite structures,
  • experience with aerodynamics,
  • use of MS office programs and other basic programs,
  • fluent English language skills.
