For the company Pipistrel Vertical Solutions d.o.o. we are looking for a Development Engineer for electrical hardware to join and become part of the Pipistrel team. The R&D Electrical Department plays a key role in the realisation of electric air mobility projects. As a development engineer, you will be involved in electrical hardware development, electrical circuit design, electrical circuit prototyping, and will work with other departments. Daily tasks will include:

  • electrical circuit design,
  • prototyping of electrical circuits and individual assemblies,
  • participation in EMC and safety certification of products,
  • working closely with other departments in the company,
  • testing and optimising circuits according to product requirements.

What do we expect from the candidate?

  • Completion of qualification or degree in electrical engineering,
  • experience in hardware development, knowledge of circuit and system design processes,
  • knowledge of Altium Designer or similar CAD design tools,
  • printed circuit boards (Cadence Allegro, Autodesk Eagle, Zuken, Kicad, Pads…),
  • enjoy working with electronic circuits and electrical systems,
  • self-initiative, team-orientated,
  • innovation, ingenuity, research orientation and a constant search for better solutions,
  • English language proficiency.
